Job summary

Cincinnati Incorporated is seeking a Field Service Representative (Upgrades) to service our metal fabrication machines nationwide. The role is home-based and requires extensive overnight travel.

You will diagnose, repair and upgrade equipment, delivering hands-on customer support and ensuring service quality. You will coordinate with customers, prepare service documentation for invoicing, maintain equipment, and participate in preventative maintenance scheduling.

Field Service Representative - (Upgrades) - National

Our Field Service Technicians enjoy working hands-on with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems that comprise our metal fabrication machines. Our field service positions are home based but require an individual who is accustomed to at least 90% travel. Technicians will provide customer and product service via preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by Cincinnati Incorporated. Our Field Service Technicians are provided a company vehicle, paid training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL:

• Prioritize, schedule and complete machine service for customers
• Prepare and submit documentation for efficient invoicing
• Maintain company property for safe operation and maximum life
• Efficiently manage business expenses to maximize profitability
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist in the establishment of the preventative maintenance schedules with customers

REQUIRED:

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic principles
• Strong diagnostics and technical aptitude
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Able to travel overnight at least 90%, most times

• Strong PC and organizational skills

Physical demands:

This position is very active and requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing of ladders. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. frequently.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment:

The noise level in the work environment can be loud occasionally. This is a high travel position.
