Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies seeks a Field Service Representative to provide hands-on operations and maintenance for water treatment systems across various industries. You’ll work on technologies including filtration, RO, IX, UF, and related monitoring and optimization tasks.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls issues, manage site documentation, and support safety and regulatory requirements on site. This role involves 4 on/4 off shifts with travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years service/maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Experience with electrical, chemical, or mechanical systems.
• Current TWIC card or ability to obtain after hire date.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment.
• Create and maintain site paperwork and provide technical summaries.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals and replacements.
• Monitor and ensure proper chemical injection systems and testing.
• Enter work orders in the maintenance program and perform other duties.

Job Description

Job Summary: As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Key Characteristics

• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX)
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical plants
• Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)
• Able to lift 50lbs

Qualifications

Education & Experience Required:

• High School Diploma/GED/Home School Certification OR international equivalent
• 2+ years experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Current TWIC Card or ability to obtain after hired date
• Current Driver’s License

Preferred

• Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical
• Forklift Experience/Training

Additional Information

• 5% travel (training/other site visits)
• Hot, dirty, loud, moving equipment
• Working with chemicals for water treatment

Working Hours

4 on/4 off with a monthly rotation of day/night shift.

6am to 6pm day shift

6pm to 6am night shift
