Job summary

Daniels Health in Detroit is seeking a full-time Field Service Representative. You’ll be on the move every day, working directly with hospital staff to exchange medical waste containers and ensure proper waste segregation.

You’ll inspect and service containers in clinical areas, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull carts up to 300 lbs, and maintain inventory. A company smartphone will help you report issues and stay connected with the team.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and on-the-go tasks.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Illinois.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required due to hospital access.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lifting containers up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling carts up to 300 lbs throughout the day.
• Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
• Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.

Mon - Fri from 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm
