Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Service Representative to deliver on-site technical service for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems at a Wichita, KS site. You will install, commission, service equipment, test water quality, and provide technical recommendations to customer teams.

The role requires 2–5 years in instrumentation/electronics or related maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel across sites within the territory.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• 2–5 years experience in instrumentation/electronics or plant operations/maintenance
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation at customer locations
• Obtain samples and perform water testing; enter data into Insight platform
• Act as technical consultant providing recommendations, training, and solutions to customer teams
• Calibrate equipment, program controllers, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and resolve issues on-site or via remote support
• Maintain detailed service reports and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Support multiple customer sites within territory and collaborate with sales for service delivery

About This Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to deliver exceptional on-site technicalservice as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and our industrial customers. You'll workindependently across diverse industries, providing expert installation, maintenance, andtroubleshooting services for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while buildinglasting customer relationships through technical excellence.

This position will primarily support a single customer site in the Wichita, KS area, with an on-site schedule Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

• Technical Service and Installation: Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment,pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations
• Water Testing and Analysis: Obtain samples and perform water testing to include pH,conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc and enter data into Veolia’s trending platform(Insight)
• Customer Consultation: Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations,training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams
• System Optimization & Troubleshooting: Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment,program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issuesthrough remote support technologies and on-site interventions
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management,and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Territory Management: Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory,coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

• Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, MechanicalEngineering, or related discipline preferred, a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-5 years of experience in instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, orequivalent technical training
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred
• A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will notqualify)
