Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Field Service Representative to support a federal program in San Diego, CA, with up to 75% travel internationally. You will provide hands-on technical support for integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of networked systems used in military operations.

You will work closely with DoD end users, engineers, and program teams to troubleshoot and maintain secure networks, install and administer Windows and Linux servers, and contribute to field testing

Qualifications

• 4+ years in testing, networking, systems administration, or related IT disciplines.
• Experience supporting military communications systems and DoD environments.
• Familiarity with Tactical Data Links CDL, TTNT, Link-16, SADL.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, LAN/WAN, IP subnetting, and network protocols.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, NGFW security technologies.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows administration with virtualization.
• Active Secret Clearance.

The Field Service Representative will provide hands-on technical support for the integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of networked communication systems supporting military operations. Compensation for the Field Service Representative includes:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 based on experience
