Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies seeks an experienced Field Service Representative to deliver on-site technical service for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems across customer sites. You will install, troubleshoot, and optimize equipment, perform water analyses, and collaborate with customers to provide solutions that meet performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of instrumentation & electronics experience, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations.
• Obtain samples and perform water testing and enter data into Veolia’s Insight platform.
• Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams.
• Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues on-site and remotely.
• Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery.

About This Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to deliver exceptional on-site technical service as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and our industrial customers. You'll work independently across diverse industries, providing expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building lasting customer relationships through technical excellence. Duties & Responsibilities

• Technical Service & Installation
  • Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations
• Water Testing and Analysis
  • Obtain samples and perform water testing to include pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc and enter data into Veolia’s trending platform (Insight)
• Customer Consultation
  • Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams
• System Optimization & Troubleshooting
  • Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on-site interventions
• Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Territory Management
  • Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery

Education & Experience

Required

• 2+ years of experience in instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training
• A valid driver's license (a learner’s permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)

Preferred

• Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Familiarity/experience with water treatment processes and industrial equipment

Working Conditions

• In this role, you may be required to travel
• You must be able to lift and carry 30-50 pounds and perform precision work (frequency varies by worksite)
