Job summary

Explore Industries in Millville, NJ is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install, troubleshoot, and repair premium automatic pool cover systems. This East Coast-based, home-based role requires travel across the United States.

As the primary customer-facing technician, you will confirm site readiness, diagnose mechanical and system issues, and relay field insights to manufacturing and product teams so installations perform as designed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, installations, or field-based service work.
• Strong technical skills and troubleshooting in field environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer communication, adaptable to homeowners, dealers, and internal teams.
• Proven ability to work independently and make sound in-field decisions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot automatic pool cover systems on-site.
• Conduct pre-installation site reviews to ensure requirements are met for successful installation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and system issues with precision.
• Communicate regularly with internal teams; provide field feedback for product improvement.
• Act as brand ambassador and primary contact for customers during service visits.
• Provide operational support at Explore Industries other facilities when not in the field.
• Travel throughout the United States from an East Coast home base; multi-day field assignments.
