Job summary

Explore Industries is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install, troubleshoot, and repair premium automatic pool cover systems from our Millville, NJ base, with travel across the United States. You will confirm site readiness and diagnose issues to ensure flawless performance.

The role requires hands-on mechanical experience, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, installations, or field-based service work.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency using tools and troubleshooting methods in field environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills, with ability to tailor communication to homeowners, dealers, and internal teams.
• Proven ability to work independently, make sound decisions in the field, and prioritize effectively.
• Valid driver's license and a clean MVR to support frequent driving and multi-state travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and climb, kneel, and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Comfort with frequent travel throughout the U.S.
• Automatic pool cover, pool equipment, or similar mechanical field-service experience preferred.

• Provide operational support at Explore Industries other facilities when not in the field.
• Travel is possible throughout the United States from an East Coast home base, with frequent driving and multi-day field assignments.

We are hiring a Field Service Specialist to deliver on-site installation, troubleshooting, and repair of premium automatic pool cover systems. This East Coast-based role is home-based out of our Millville, New Jersey ExploreBase but includes travel throughout the United States.

You will be the primary customer-facing specialist in the field—confirming site readiness, diagnosing mechanical and system issues, and feeding field insight back to manufacturing and product teams so covers install cleanly and perform as designed.

• Actual compensation will be based on experience and job-related skills.
