Job summary

Apex Water and Process Inc. is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service custom water treatment and process equipment at customer sites.

This role travels up to 75% and works from the St. Michael, MN facility when not traveling; strong electrical and mechanical aptitude is required, with ability to coordinate with engineering and service teams for successful field installations.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical aptitude and experience with industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, instrumentation, and wiring.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 75% to customer sites for installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of water treatment and process equipment.
• Serve as primary onsite technical contact for customers during field service visits and provide hands-on training.
• Startup, troubleshoot, test, and operate equipment and train customer personnel.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Production, and other teams to resolve field issues and improve equipment design.
• Maintain documentation of field service activities and ensure safety and quality standards.
