Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Lead HVAC Service Specialist to serve as a technical authority for complex climate control systems in our Georgia facilities. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize performance, mentoring junior technicians and ensuring reliable operations.

This role emphasizes hands-on expertise with chillers, boilers, RTUs and AHUs, strong documentation in CMMS, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations. A proactive mindset and cross-department collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or institutional HVAC.
• Current EPA Universal Certification.
• Advanced proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, hydronic systems, and DDC control logic.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex repairs and preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC assets, including chillers, boilers, RTUs, and AHUs.
• Drive system efficiency by fine-tuning controls and mechanical components to meet rigorous performance standards.
• Document service outcomes and asset health within CMMS platforms to ensure data-driven maintenance strategies.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence by providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance during all refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with facility management to identify and implement long-term infrastructure upgrades that enhance operational reliability.
