Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and complete less complex repairs at the customer’s site in Coburg, OR.

The role includes on-site work, on-call rotation, and occasional travel to support branch territory coverage. Qualified candidates will have broad mechanical and electrical repair skills, HV/LV experience, and the ability to troubleshoot generators, ATS, and related components while maintaining detailed service records and adhering to

Qualifications

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
• High voltage/low voltage experience.
• Capable of electrical repair with minimal supervision.
• Basic diesel engine experience.
• Proficient troubleshooting of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
• Repair and commissioning on ATS systems.

Responsibilities

• Completing repair activities on generators or components.
• Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Maintain detailed records of service.
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
• Maintain own tools.
