Our team works with custom-engineered bus duct systems that support electrical power distribution in power generation, industrial, data center, and other critical infrastructure environments.
As Field Service Operations Manager, you'll play a highly visible leadership role focused on developing employees, strengthening customer relationships, coordinating field resources, and delivering a consistent customer experience. **Important: This position requires approximately 25-40% overnight travel throughout North America. When not traveling, this role is based on-site in Richland, MS.**
Lead and develop a team of Field Service Technicians and support personnel supporting customers projects in North America. Partner with Project Management to coordinate personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and schedules across multiple concurrent customer projects. Support customers throughout planned outages, inspections, equipment installations, commissioning activities, and emergency service events, helping coordinate response efforts when urgent issues arise. Travel to customer sites to provide leadership, strengthen relationships, resolve issues, and support successful project execution. Serve as the key point of contact for customers, field personnel, subcontractors, and internal partners throughout the project lifecycle. Provide direction and support to field teams while promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, and customer service. Find opportunities to improve field operations, reporting processes, resource utilization, and overall service delivery. Build strong customer partnerships that drive successful project outcomes and long-term service growth.
5+ years of experience in construction, industrial services, utility, power generation, maintenance, or similar project-based environments, including experience leading and developing teams. Proven success coordinating multiple projects, crews, subcontractors, equipment, and customer priorities simultaneously. Experience supporting installation, commissioning, maintenance, outage, construction, or other large-scale project environments. Ability to build trust, develop employees, and hold teams accountable to safety, quality, and performance expectations. Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills, including the ability to address issues and maintain positive client partnerships. Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using scheduling, project tracking, or reporting systems. Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% (U.S. and occasionally Canada), including occasional short-notice trips in support of customer needs.
