Job summary

Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC is seeking a Field Service Representative to handle meters for disconnects, reconnects, readings, and investigations across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will work within assigned service territory ensuring safe, timely service delivery and accurate energy measurement.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliability, with potential long drives and adherence to company policies and field safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Applicants with meter reading or related electric measurement experience encouraged to apply.
• Applicants with experience working with electric utility field service orders encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Determine the type of meters required to initiate service.
• Maintain professionalism with residential and commercial customers.
• Use proper test equipment to verify voltage and protect against hazards.
• Ensure service order completion within specified timeframes across a geographic area.
• Evaluate premises for diversion and ensure accurate recording of readings.
• Drive for long periods as needed.
