Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC in Texas seeks a Revenue Security Representative to investigate locations with suspected electric energy diversion. You will cut and remove service at weatherheads, poles, or handholes, document findings, and coordinate with security and field teams to prevent theft while ensuring safe, compliant work.

The role requires endurance for varied schedules and locations, the ability to work overtime and on-call, and strong communication and metering knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas Class C Driver License required.
• 2+ years in investigative, inspection-oriented, loss-prevention, or research-oriented work.
• Experience with electric metering field service encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes proper and improper meter base wiring and meter tampering to evaluate installation integrity.
• Removes meter, cuts overhead service, or disconnects underground service to stop theft and hazards.
• Documents findings using computer apps, camera, and proper evidence handling for diversion investigations per tariff requirements.
• Records data in CC&B, EAM, and monitoring systems to ensure accurate inventory management and billing.
• Coordinates with Corporate Security, Field Service, Revenue Management, and other teams to ensure proper procedures.
• Performs all essential aspects of the job and any other requirements.
• Available for overtime, including all days and holidays; on-call 24 hours as needed.
• Available to work at multiple locations within the regional area.
