Electronics Engineer - Field Service role is hands-on, customer-facing and based in the US. You will perform maintenance at customer sites, update firmware, and collaborate with R&D to improve products, while traveling up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical engineering required.
• 2+ years of field experience with electromechanical lab equipment or automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, firmware, and basic networking.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically (80%).

Responsibilities

• Perform recurrent maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair instruments at customer sites (primarily biotech/pharma labs).
• Service electromechanical systems, including firmware updates and component replacement.
• Inspect instruments and setups to identify and mitigate downtime risks; read and troubleshoot logfiles.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to provide field insights and drive product improvements.
• Act as a company ambassador with high customer service and technical professionalism.
• Document all interventions in the CRM service system.
