Job summary

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company in Little Rock, Arkansas, is looking for a Service Mechanic to join our field-based Service Team. You will troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment at customer sites, bringing units back to operation and safety standards.

The role emphasizes clear communication with Sales, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about downtime and progress, plus safe, efficient work with minimal supervision on-site and in company vehicles.

Qualifications

• minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education, and/or experience in a related field.
• clean driving record and ability to operate a van/truck to customer locations.
• high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of material handling equipment at various customer locations to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.
• Communicate with Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision to decrease equipment downtime while maintaining safety on-site and during vehicle operation.
