Job summary

Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Field Service Mechanic in Alvarado, TX to diagnose, repair and maintain aerial lifts, cranes and related fleet equipment in the field and at the service center. Qualified candidates will have a valid driver’s license, a proven track record with hydraulics, electrical systems and CAN bus diagnostics, and be willing to travel and work overtime.

CDL Class B is preferred and tool ownership is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five years of related experience (Shop Tech and Field Tech).
• Must hold a valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred).
• Must have your own tools.
• Proficient in documentation using software, meeting deadlines and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair LMI Diagnostics and CAN bus systems.
• Serve as field expert diagnosing and repairing specialized utility equipment.
• Work on bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, service trucks, and related equipment.
• Inspect and service vehicles and perform repairs in field and service center.
• Prepare inspection reports, repair orders, and timecards.
• Communicate with customers and internal departments to minimize downtime.
