Job summary

Custom Truck One Source, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Mechanic in Alvarado, TX to diagnose and repair specialized utility equipment in the field, ensuring adherence to dealer and factory standards.

You will service bucket trucks, cranes, service trucks, and related equipment; diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems, perform inspections, and complete inspection reports, timecards, and warranty documentation; travel as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of related experience (Shop Tech and Field Tech).
• Valid driver’s license; CDL Class B preferred.
• Owns and uses basic tools for maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair LMI Diagnostics and CAN bus systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulics on utility trucks and equipment.
• Inspect, service, and repair vehicles at the service center and in the field.
• Prepare inspection reports, repair orders, and timecards with accurate cost data.
• Communicate with Service Manager and customers to manage downtime.
