Job summary

Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Field Service Technician in Alvarado, TX. You will perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on chassis and truck-mounted equipment in shop or field environments.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hydraulic and electrical issues, reading schematics, and completing documentation. Travel will be necessary, including extended periods away from home as required by customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CDL, Chauffeur’s License, Medical Card.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems and crane operations preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on chassis and aerial equipment.
• Work in shop or field environments, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Inspect machines to determine overall condition and needed repairs.
• Diagnose issues with hydraulic and electrical systems; restore equipment promptly.
• Document all service activities accurately in paper and electronic records.
• Travel as required to service locations, including extended assignments.
