Custom Truck One Source in Texas seeks a Field Service Mechanic to diagnose and repair heavy utility equipment in the field. The role involves servicing bucket trucks, cranes, and related vehicles, with overtime and travel as required.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 5 years of related experience, a valid driver's license (CDL Class B preferred), and owning your own tools. Documentation skills and adherence to CTOS safety training are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five years of related experience. (Shop Tech and Field Tech)
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• CDL Class B preferred.
• Must have your own tools.
• Proficient in documentation using software, meeting deadlines and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair field equipment and troubleshoot advanced systems.
• Work on bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, service trucks, and related equipment.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, parts replacement, and repairs on rental, customer, and company units.
• Follow safety training and CTOS standards; communicate with Service Manager about progress and issues.
• Travel as needed and flexibly respond to business coverage requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports and timecards accurately.
