Job summary

Vector Security in Warrendale, PA seeks a Field Service Manager to lead installation, service, support and repair of security, fire, CCTV and access control systems. This role directly supervises and coordinates the activities of installation and service technicians in the field.

Responsibilities include overseeing schedules and priorities, troubleshooting issues with technicians, hiring and developing staff, and enforcing departmental procedures to ensure quality and efficiency while complying

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in security, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving history.
• Strong knowledge of security and fire industry regulations.
• Proven leadership with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office programs.
• NICET certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and service departments to ensure high-quality service.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments based on priority and staff skill levels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation and service issues with technicians.
• Hire, develop, and manage staff performance.
• Establish and implement departmental procedures to ensure efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to corporate and departmental policies.
