Job summary

Power Flame Incorporated, a subsidiary of Astec, is hiring a Field Service Manager at our Parsons, KS facility to lead the field service team and ensure optimal operation of Power Flame equipment. You will oversee technicians, coordinate with engineering and purchasing, set goals, and drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while promoting Astec values.

This onsite role requires mechanical know-how, 5 years service experience, 3 years leadership, and travel up to 20% regionally and

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of parts or service experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of team management experience, including remote individuals and groups.
Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
Effective communication with customers of varying education levels.

Responsibilities

Oversee Field Service Technicians and a Trainer; direct service department in line with policies.
Ensure equipment operates efficiently and installations are correct.
Promote safety, quality, and productivity; monitor and coach staff.
Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and other departments; report field issues.
