Action Garage Door in Meridian, ID is seeking a hands-on Service Manager to lead and develop a residential service team. You will coach technicians, drive service revenue, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires field presence, performance coaching, and use of data to close gaps. Base salary $80,000 plus bonus, with total comp $100k–$120k+. Benefits include health, 401(k), PTO, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a service organization.
• Proven ability to coach and develop frontline employees.
• Strong understanding of customer service and consultative selling.
• Comfortable managing through KPIs, scorecards, and performance data.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field coaching technicians.
• Strong communication and accountability skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop our residential service technicians.
• Drive service revenue, sales performance, and profitability.
• Improve opportunity conversion, average ticket, and technician productivity.
• Conduct regular ride-alongs and in-field coaching.
• Review calls, estimates, invoices, and technician performance.
• Coach technicians on presenting options and creating an exceptional customer experience.
• Establish clear individual goals and hold the team accountable.
• Lead daily huddles, weekly meetings, and individual performance conversations.
• Identify training needs and build development plans for technicians.
• Partner with Dispatch and the Call Center to maximize capacity and opportunity.
