Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions in the United States seeks a Field Service Manager to lead a small service team, coordinating maintenance and connectivity services across a regional territory. You will work with the VP of Service to balance team and individual goals while maintaining high morale and customer satisfaction.

You will supervise 5–6 field technicians, recruit and train staff, and ensure performance targets are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate with others.
• Industry experience desirable in Multi-Functional Document Output Products or LaserJet printers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of equipment maintenance and connectivity services to clients in a geographic area through an assigned team of field service technicians.
• Achieve established team performance standards for service excellence and productivity.
• Meet the service requirements of a changing machine population, recommend staffing changes.
• Perform and/or coordinate field training and development.
• Perform and/or coordinate equipment field service and technical support as required.
• Coordinate development plans for new hires and existing employees with the Director of Operations.
• Monitor, track and communicate daily/weekly/monthly goals for individuals and the team.
• Manage technician call volume to meet guaranteed response times and first call effectiveness.
