Dover Corporation is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead a designated area of the field service staff in Allentown, PA. The role focuses on delivery, training, and documentation of Acme Cryogenics services within the portfolio, including installation, maintenance, and upgrades.

Field Service Manager

Location: Allentown, PA, US, 18103

Onsite

The Field Service Manager is responsible for managing the overall selection, preparation, and training of the designated area field service staff. This preparation is designed to facilitate successful delivery and recording of Acme Cryogenic Services offered within the portfolio of products. This position will coordinate with others in the composition of Acme Cryogenics training materials on three levels of delivery: Acme Cryogenics Customers, potential Acme Cryogenics Customers, and internal Acme Cryogenics staff. This role will also help to develop, compile and keep current product documentation in support of installation or servicing of Acme Cryogenics product. This range of products may include activities from product installation, preventive maintenance to upgrades and product refurbishment. This position will work closely with regional counterparts in the Services organization to maintain consistent development and delivery of the technical services products, presentations or training activities. This role should also be prepared to provide consultation or guidance on technical services when in contact with current internal, external or potential customers.

What You’ll Do

• Provide quality service to Acme Cryogenics’ internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while always demonstrating Acme Cryogenics Values.
• Ensure timely consistent delivery and reporting on this delivery of Acme Cryogenics services purchased by and owed to customers.
• Develop and deliver programs for Acme Cryogenics staff, customers or potential customers.
• Deliver in-service training programs for staff and measure the effectiveness of these programs.
• Prepare and ensure area budgets and training objectives are set, communicated and achieved.
• Provide active participation in regional service training and meetings to ensure consistent material and service delivery.
• Support elements to ensure successful and consistent customer experience.

Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority

• Prepares and monitors annual area budgets.
• Provides input and feedback to regional leadership on FS goals and progress.

Management/Supervisory Responsibilities

• Manage a field service team that has responsibilities for installations and services of Acme Cryogenics Products in a designated area of operation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have technical level working knowledge of Acme Cryogenics products.
• Project or product management experience would be valuable.
• Internal and external training skills are required.
• Highly developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize, plan and execute are key success factors in this position.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or related work experience.
• 10 years’ experience in fieldwork and heavy customer contact considered valuable and a critical key to the success of this position as well as staff development.
• Domestic travel approximately 50% to support and sell Acme Cryogenics installations and services at customer sites.
• Experience with quoting projects is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
