Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Specialist with local travel to support factory floors across our US operations. You will perform expert level break-fix, preventive maintenance, and installations, diagnosing complex control systems and enhancing equipment reliability.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, ability to read schematics, use specialist tools and programming software, and to train customer teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; technical associate plus 12+ years, or 15+ years in industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Able to use basic and specialized tools and programming software.
• Experience with PLCs, field devices, electrical drives, and motion control.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance.
• Identify and source parts, evaluate cost/reliability options.
• Document work in service reports and manuals; train others.
• Lead training and development for technicians and customers.
• Adhere to safety policies and lead by example.
