Job summary

Texas First Rentals (TFR) is seeking a Field Service Foreman to lead hands-on repairs in the field and manage parts carts at our South Austin location. You will support field technicians, train new technicians, provide technical guidance, and diagnose machines at branches when shop technicians cannot resolve issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

High school diploma or trade school required.
Three years of related experience; four or more preferred.
Aerial lift certification required.
Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

Develops, evaluates, and influences productivity and teamwork to deliver Legendary Customer Service (LCS).
Models Values Based Leadership (VBL) to align with Vision, Values, and Mission.
Ensure parts carts are accurate and finalize the order.
Mentoring, developing, and supporting field technicians within their group.
Performs repairs and troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
Performs troubleshooting and diagnoses of equipment malfunctions and failures.
Removes and installs parts, disassembles and assembles basic components.
Tests, adjusts, and verifies proper operation of repairs and adjustments.
Provides input into field service activities for effective decisions and resource availability.
