Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) in Iowa to lead field projects, perform moderately complex electrical inspections, data collection, and testing on de-energized equipment, and ensure safe operation and quality reporting.

You will set up test gear, supervise technicians, write detailed reports, and coordinate with project teams while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards; travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical college degree preferred.
• 5+ years of field service experience in electrical/industrial settings.
• Able to travel up to 50% and pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and supervise field technicians to ensure on-time completion.
• Perform electrical measurements and data collection for tests.
• Set up/remove test equipment and maintain equipment condition.
• Write detailed test reports and ensure timely submissions.
