United Rentals is seeking a Fleet Technician - Field Service for Mobile Storage to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on mobile storage equipment at customer sites, focusing on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and the ability to work independently in the field.

You will lead on-site service, coordinate with customers, document work orders, and mentor other technicians.

Formación

• 5+ years in construction, repairing and maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and expert tool knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and complex work instructions.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with real-time decision making.
• Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead advanced diagnostics and repairs at customer sites, serving as the primary on-site representative.
• Perform field repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
• Complete complex service calls with multi-trade troubleshooting.
• Document work orders and usage in mobile applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other technicians.
