Job summary

Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Technician Lead to supervise a team of Field Service Technicians and provide hands-on maintenance of gas engine compressor packages at customer sites, including startups and overhauls.

Location: Weatherford, OK; strong mechanical troubleshooting and leadership are essential. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely project delivery while coaching others and coordinating with customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
7–10 years of relevant field experience in gas compression equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with servicing and troubleshooting experience.
Able to complete OSHA respiratory questionnaires and fit tests.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel/assist on site.
Ability to lead, mentor, and develop other technicians.
Willingness for overtime and callouts.

Responsibilities

Directly supervising a team of Field Service Technicians and leading field work.
Assigning and managing field workforce and performance actions.
Providing training, guidance, and hands-on coaching.
Performing preventive and corrective mechanical service on gas compression equipment.
Troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling equipment and systems.
Coordinating start-up, commissioning, and site activities.
Ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on sites.
Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting billing.
Providing 24/7 coverage as required, including callouts.
