Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking a Lead Service Technician to maintain and service compression equipment across multiple locations. The role involves leading Field Service Technicians, performing startups and major maintenance, and delivering expert troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation for our customers.

Applicants should have 7+ years in gas compression, relevant CAT/Ariel/Cummins experience, and strong communication skills to partner with ASM and sales teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in gas compression; preference for CAT, Ariel and/or Cummins.
• Technical or trade school certification, college degree, or equivalent work experience.
• CAT Gas Engine II, Ariel mechanics, and related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Involved in startups, major maintenance, and high-end diagnostic repair across a variety of equipment.
• Lead and mentor Field Service Technicians; develop their technical skills and professional growth.
• Ensure run time of natural gas compression units per contractual agreements; provide quick, accurate responses to customer inquiries.
