Job summary

AV is seeking a Field Service Representative Instructor II to operate and train on Medium UAS (MUAS), focusing on the Jump20 platform, in the field. The role includes leading flight demonstrations, ensuring safety, and providing on-site upgrades, training, and maintenance for customer systems.

Expect up to 80% travel (CONUS and OCONUS) and collaboration with Business Development, Product Line Managers, Program Managers, and Engineering to deliver effective MUAS training and field support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Prior military experience or equivalent training in aircraft/aerospace manufacturing.
• Demonstrated understanding of military tactics, GPS and navigation using map and compass.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Clean driving record required to drive company vehicles.
• Must pass and maintain medical and dental exams for deployments.

Responsibilities

• Operates, instructs, and evaluates on UAS in the field.
• Performs and oversees flight demonstrations in support of AV product line and Business Development.
• Coordinates with agencies/customers to plan and coordinate personnel/equipment for Flight Demo Events.
• Provides on-site software/hardware upgrades, refresher training, and assists with new equipment deliveries.
• Represents AV’s products as a subject matter expert at meetings and conferences.
• Conducts Flight Evaluations and is qualified as an Evaluator in their specialty.
