Job summary

DOC SERVICES is seeking an Electromechanical Field Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of electromechanical equipment at customer sites across the region. Technicians work from home, responding to service calls and documenting work via handheld devices.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years’ repair experience, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with Windows/Microsoft Office and service management software.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable maintenance and repairs on electromechanical equipment.
• Abide by OSHA and company safety regulations including PPE.
• Respond to service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Document all work using handheld device per client and DOC requirements.
• Order the correct parts and maintain inventory for quick repairs.
• Travel to customer locations and arrive prepared with tools and equipment.
• Evaluate preventable service problems and provide recommendations to customers.
