Job summary

Clean Harbors in Stoughton, MA is seeking a Field Service Foreperson to directly supervise Field Technicians and lead emergency response, hazardous waste cleanup, and site remediation efforts. The role requires strict adherence to OSHA/EPA/H&S standards and the ability to manage resources and risks in demanding environments.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, coordinating field operations, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a physically intensive role.
• Previous supervisory/crew lead experience.
• Ability to travel for extended periods, overnight.
• On-call for emergency response capability.
• Background check, drug test, and physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Field Technicians and ensure Health & Safety is the top priority.
• Train and mentor field staff; ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources for field service and emergency response.
• Operate or oversee use of light/heavy equipment and PPE; enforce regulatory compliance.
• Support field sampling, meters calibration, and paperwork completion.
• Attend safety and compliance meetings and coordinate with the site team.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis as required.
