Job summary

Transwest Mobile Truck & Trailer in Texas is seeking a hands-on Field Service Foreman to lead mobile diesel diagnostics, guide technicians on site, and partner with contractors, municipalities, and fleet operators.

You’ll troubleshoot heavy‑duty diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, plan engine overhauls, deploy OEM procedures, mentor junior techs, and maintain thorough repair documentation while raising safety and quality in the field.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of heavy equipment/diesel/hydraulic repair experience.
• Expert knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems with CAN bus/ECM diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Able to pass background checks.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs; comfortable in indoor/outdoor environments.
• ASE T‑series (T2–T8) or Master Diesel Technician status preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience in mobile/field repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engine overhauls and rebuilds with safety and speed.
