Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a co-op/early-career engineer in New Jersey to assist with startup, calibration, and commissioning of building systems. You will support tooling like Bluebeam, Excel and Word, update drawings, and help with turnover to service.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the local area are required. The role requires pursuing an Engineering degree with a 3.0+ GPA and ability to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Valid Driver’s License and insurable by company.
• Willingness to travel >50% of a typical work week within the local area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with startup, commissioning and re-commissioning of customer systems using pneumatic, electrical and electronic technology.
• Help maintain accurate As-Built drawing packages and update in Bluebeam, Excel and Word.
• Assist in calibration using basic electronic test equipment such as multimeters and network terminals.
• Support static and dynamic commissioning of software programming.
• Set up operator workstations with associated software.
• Perform daily job database backups and assist with turnover to service.
