Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a student engineer intern to support commissioning and system setup on customer projects. You will assist with startup, commissioning, and documentation, gaining hands-on experience in HVAC and building automation while pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

You will work with Visio, Excel, and Word, travel regionally, and participate in data backup and project status reporting. Applications close after 3 days from 10 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by our company’s insurance carrier
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of typical work week, mostly local travel and seldom overnight hotel stay

Responsibilities

• Assist with startup, commissioning and re-commissioning of customer systems.
• Maintain accurate As-Built drawings in Visio, Excel, Word.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment.
• Support software programming for static and dynamic commissioning.
• Set up operator workstations with required software.
• Back up job databases daily and record progress for project leads.
• Prepare turnover to service and document status reports.
