Qualifications

  • 3-7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years of X-ray field service experience preferred.

Description

Responsible for providing high-quality technical field support and service to our medical imaging customers through servicing, installing, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting medical imaging equipment. You will serve as an X-ray Field Service Imaging Engineer for the Multi Vendor Service team onsite at our customer in Oklahoma City, OK, servicing a wide variety of OEM imaging equipment.

Outcomes
  • Service medical imaging equipment within primary hospital networks.
  • Support parts and service accounts regionally as needed.
  • Ensure imaging systems are calibrated and functioning to OEM standards.
  • Meet customer needs and ensure optimal system operation.
  • Enhance engineering competencies and represent the company professionally.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, and complete PMs, installations, and related tasks to diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical, and network issues.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot computer systems on equipment per OEM specs.
  • Continuously expand knowledge in repair and installation of imaging equipment.
  • Provide advanced diagnosis and repair of imaging systems.
  • Support management with project feedback and issue reporting.
  • Handle technical questions and document processes; educate end users.
  • Represent the company positively onsite, primarily servicing equipment at hospitals, with flexibility to travel.
Minimum Requirements
  • B.S. in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years of X-ray field service experience, with experience in GE, Fuji, C-arm, or portable X-ray systems preferred.

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and build positive relationships.
  • Flexible, confident, and mature in resolving situations.
  • Customer service excellence and safety knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills; proficient in Office tools and internet research.
