Job summary

Haynes Equipment Company, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, operate, and troubleshoot municipal water and wastewater equipment in the Oklahoma region. You will diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs on site, ensuring that systems run reliably and safely.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical repair, relay logic and motor controls, and calibration of process instruments. Some travel in Oklahoma and overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school specializing in mechanical and electronic repair.
• On-job training will be provided.
• Experience with relay logic and motor controls.
• Experience with voltmeters including mA measurement and mA signal generation.
• Experience using an amp clamp.
• Experience programming/calibrating process instruments.

Responsibilities

• Report to Field Service Manager the status of each service trip including travel time, mileage, service hours and customer contact details.
• Meet weekly with Field Service Manager.
• Contact client to verify expected service time or notify changes.
• Obtain a signed service report from customer with listed items.
• Advise customer to schedule service and contact through Office Service Manager.
• Daily travel in Oklahoma and perform field service duties.
• Operate pumps, valves, and process control systems; oversee equipment in field.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; participate in or supervise entry into tanks or confined spaces.
