Job summary

Clearwater Industries, a Milwaukee-area water treatment equipment manufacturer, seeks a Field Service Engineer in Brown Deer, WI. You will commission systems at customer sites, troubleshoot and optimize processes, and support FAT and in-shop activities. Willingness to travel and learn is valued over formal experience.

Role includes 30–75% travel (primarily US, Canada/Mexico 5%), competitive hourly pay, 401K, health insurance, and other benefits. Home weekends when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Field service or commissioning experience preferred, but not required.
• Willing and able to travel; valid driver's license and driving record.
• Ability to read and mark up mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical and rotating equipment such as pumps and valves.

Responsibilities

• Commission and start up water treatment equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with remote engineering support.
• Perform site process tuning and polymer optimization.
• Train customer operators on operation and maintenance.
• Perform warranty repairs.
• Document trips, service reports, and drawings.
• Assist FAT and in-shop electrical assembly and wiring.
• Provide phone and remote troubleshooting support.
• Handle service and parts inquiries and relay field findings.
