Hyve Solutions, a US-based manufacturing partner, seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site user support for hardware, software, and network access across office and production areas.

The role involves managing user accounts, basic server tasks, and coordinating with corporate IT to ensure security and policy alignment. You will support workstations, printers, scanners, and production floor terminals on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT support or related technical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or mixed office/production env preferred.
• Proficient in Windows OS and Active Directory.
• Familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite user support for hardware, software, network access, and general IT issues across office and manufacturing areas.
• Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Hyve systems and applications.
• Perform minor server support, including basic troubleshooting, monitoring, patch coordination, and escalation to corporate IT when needed.
• Support local infrastructure such as workstations, printers, scanners, badge systems, and production‑floor terminals.
• Document issues, resolutions, and system changes to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with corporate IT teams to ensure alignment with security standards, policies, and system configurations.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including equipment setup, account provisioning, and access removal.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues impacting users or production operations.
• Support network connectivity troubleshooting and elevate complex issues appropriately.
• Maintain a strong customer‑service mindset and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the facility’s operational and technical needs.

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in IT support, field service, or a similar technical role. Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or mixed office/production environment preferred. Working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, permissions management, and basic server administration. Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs). Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues independently. Excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Ability to lift equipment (up to ~40 lbs), stand/walk on the production floor, and support a dynamic environment. Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and organizational habits. Ability to work onsite full‑time and support occasional after‑hours needs as business requires.
