Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a senior Logistics professional to plan and manage logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer services in Reno, NV. You will direct the full order cycle, implement policies, and develop staff while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

You will control inventory, coordinate material movements, and liaise with carriers and suppliers to sustain service levels and cost-efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ experience in a Warehouse/Logistics/Factory environment.
• Background managing logistics of a factory environment or similar.
• Inventory Control experience preferred.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics or a related discipline is preferred.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• First-Aid or CPR certification would be an asset.
• Proven experience with computerized order entry and fulfillment.
• Analytical with problem-solving and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems.
• Development of employees in Operations including training, achieving productivity standards, company policies and procedures, and annual performance reviews.
• Control of warehouse inventory, equipment and consumables with physical counts.
• Develop materials schedules and coordinate the efficient movement of materials.
• External communication with carriers, consumable suppliers, service vendors, temporary labor agencies and third party logistics providers.
• Maintain high inbound and outbound transportation service levels while controlling costs.
• Monitor vendor routing, inbound lead times and costs.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with internal process controls and safety practices.

• Manage and monitor vendor routing compliance, inbound lead times and cost


• Ensure ongoing compliance with internal process controls


• Work in a safe manner. Be conscious of safety on the job by adhering to the established health & safety measures and practices of the company. Report workplace hazards and any violations of the relevant legislation to the employer

Qualifications
