Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Jr. Field Service Engineer to install, repair and calibrate Waygate Technologies X-ray systems at customer locations, with travel exceeding 70% and overtime paid for extended days.

You will provide on-site and phone support, complete service reports and invoicing packages, ensure safety on-site, and drive customer satisfaction while rolling out standard service processes. A valid US passport and driver’s license are required, with background checks and US citizenship

Qualifications

Four-year technical degree in Electronics or Mechanics.
Ability to travel up to 70% and lift up to 50 pounds.
Background investigation including employment, criminal, driving and education checks.
Willingness to travel and hold a valid driver's license and passport.
Must be a current US citizen.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and peripheral equipment.
Provide customers with technical support via phone and onsite service.
Complete standard service reports and invoicing packages.
Drive customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards.
Monitor site safety during work scope execution.
