Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Jr. Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and repair Waygate Technologies equipment at customer sites. Role requires extensive travel (over 70%), lifting up to 50 pounds, and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

Four-year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET/BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET/BSME).
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to undergo background investigation (employment, criminal history, driving record, education).
Willing to travel up to 70% of the time.
Must hold a valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain).
Must currently hold US citizenship.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and peripheral equipment (x-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, motion controllers, power supplies, high voltage circuits, PCs).
Provide technical support to customers via phone and on-site service.
Complete service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative tasks.
Drive customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards.
Monitor site safety during work scope execution.
