Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Jr. Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and maintain Waygate Technologies X-ray systems at customer sites. You will travel to locations, perform troubleshooting, and provide on-site support while ensuring safety and quality in every service assignment.

Candidates should have a four-year technical degree in Electronics or Mechanics and be willing to travel up to 70% and lift up to 50 pounds. US citizenship is required to work on-site in the United States.

Qualifications

Four-year technical degree in Electronics or Mechanics is required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Background investigation including past employment, criminal history and education may be required.
Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time for work.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and passport or be able to obtain them.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and install industrial X-ray systems and peripheral equipment.
Provide technical support to customers via phone and onsite service.
Complete service reports and invoicing packages accurately and on time.
Drive customer satisfaction from commitment through service excellence.
Monitor site safety during work scope execution.
