Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Junior Field Services Engineer to service Waygate Technologies equipment, including Phoenix 2D/3D CT X‑ray systems, at customer sites. The role requires extensive travel and on-site installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
You will provide technical support, complete service reports, and uphold safety while delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction across multiple sites.
Qualifications
- Four-year technical degree (AEET, AMET) or equivalent in Electronics/Mechanics.
- Ability to lift 20–50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to undergo background checks (employment verification, criminal history, driving record, education).
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain them.
- U.S. citizenship status.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and install industrial X‑ray systems and peripheral equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and on-site visits.
- Complete service reports and invoicing in a timely manner.
- Deliver high‑quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor site safety throughout all work scopes.
