Job summary

Statco Engineering & Fabricators LLC in Fontana, CA, is seeking a Field Service Technician to maximize equipment functionality in the field. You’ll travel to customer sites (about 50%), provide time-sensitive solutions, and build lasting relationships while supporting sanitary processing equipment.

Using AutoCAD drawings, you’ll guide service, complete jobs safely and on time, and contribute to assembly and installation.

Qualifications

Two (2) or more years in a similar role within sanitary manufacturing environments.
Ability to travel to customer sites for installation work (50% travel).
Clean Motor Vehicle Report with a good driving record.
Intermediate level knowledge and experience with pneumatic valves and cylinders.
Intermediate knowledge of and experience with PLC based controls.
Familiarity with manufacturing sites and use of power tools.
Welding experience on stainless steel preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilize machine shop knowledge to maximize equipment functionality in the field.
Provide time-sensitive solutions to increase customer uptime and efficiency.
Building relationships with customers.
Participate in various stages of the assembly process to thoroughly understand the equipment and how to best support customers.
Use AutoCAD assembly drawings to guide service.
Complete each job safely, on time and within budget guidelines.
