Reporting to the
Field Service Manager, as a
Field Service Engineer, you will serve as the eyes and ears of Videojet, providing service and support through customer interactions.
This position is located in Springfield, MO, and the surrounding areas, and will be
remote. We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary, unlimited bonus opportunities, full medical coverage from day one, parental benefits, a phone, and a company car.
Typical daily tasks include:- Providing ongoing support for customer equipment
- Installing products and solutions at customer locations
- Diagnosing and resolving issues
- Building trusted relationships with customers
- Promoting service agreements and new technology
- Traveling within a 2-hour radius, with occasional overnight stays. Initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends.
To succeed in this role, you should:- Use problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and know when to seek help
- Partner with customers to understand their needs and manage expectations
- Listen proactively, anticipate needs, and work towards solutions
- Collaborate effectively with teammates, managers, and customers
The minimum requirements include:- Up to two years of technical or customer-facing experience
- Willingness to travel 100% to customer sites
- Associate’s/Technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Experience with repairing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment; electrical and mechanical experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
