MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I (SPRINGFIELD, MO)

Job Description:

The person hired for the position of Maintenance Mechanic I will work at our 3M Springfield, MO Site.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding and following all safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining electronic and electrical equipment and components
• Programming/troubleshooting using programming devices
• Installing/upgrading equipment
• Calibrating and verifying metrology equipment

Your Skills and Expertise:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• OR
• Two (2) year technical degree in a maintenance field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays

• Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology

Pay Transparency:

The starting rate of pay range for this position is $30.97 to $35.84. This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
