Job summary

Spectrum Dynamics Medical seeks a high-performing Field Service Engineer to support VERITON SPECT/CT and D-SPECT systems across the US. You will execute service strategies, install, repair, and maintain imaging equipment while driving customer satisfaction.

The role requires a biomedical or electrical engineering background, hands-on field service experience, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support customers and ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• 3 years of experience servicing/installing medical imaging equipment (CT or PET, nuclear preferred).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support other locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for break-fix issues related to software, hardware, and IT, and their clinical applications.
• Execute new system installations, field upgrades, and preventive maintenance for the company’s range of products.
• Take ownership of the customer experience and escalate issues as needed to resolve them.
• Identify resources and coordinate with teams to resolve problems in a timely fashion.
• Communicate with customers directly to ensure issues are resolved and satisfaction is maintained.
• Support new product introductions and first-of-kind installations.
• Provide status reporting to internal/external customer support teams.
• Collaborate with sales and application teams to address customer needs and drive revenue.
• Suggest improvements in tools, training, and processes to boost productivity.
• Report to the Director of Service.
